DoN Brewer's thesis for the "light being" series is that reflected light from windows and reflective surfaces, briefly realized on urban walls and streets, represents the spirits of loved ones passed. The images in the series are titled after important figures in DoN's life including relatives, friends, pets, artistic infuencers and public figures who have died and become beams of light traveling across the universe, revealing themselves to be photographed here and other distant worlds. light beings (lorraine & Charles) has been accepted into Art Ability, international juried art competition; this is the second year one of DoN's "light beings" has been accepted in the prestigious art show.

Each "light being" composition is a landscape photograph with no special set up by the photographer; collages are all created with original photographs & scans and drawings are created with a Wacom tablet & Photoshop, plein air or in the studio.
